In this article you will find a simple guide with estimated costs and deadlines .
Before setting up a company, it is important to do a minimum of planning and foresight. To do so, you need to define a few points:

– The business idea .

– A minimum market study prior to its implementation.

– A business plan in which needs are established, budgets and forecasts are created.

Once the entire strategy has been designed, these are the fundamental steps to start a company:

1- Give the company a name in the Central Commercial Registry

– It can be done online but it is faster in person.

– Cost: For 15.95 euros you can choose up to five names, and the first one that is free will be awarded.

2- Open a corporate account in a bank

– Each partner must enter their share of the share capital with which the company will be registered , corresponding to the percentage they will have in the company.

– Deadline: The process is done immediately, although the account is blocked until the deeds are submitted. The bank will issue a certificate for each contribution from the partners, which can take up to a week.

3- Sign the company's deeds before a notary

– All partners must sign, and it is necessary to provide the bank certificates and the certificate from the Central Commercial Registry with the name.

– Cost: This procedure can cost around 300 euros.

4- Request the company's provisional NIF from the Treasury with form 036

– Where: At any Tax Agency office.

– You will need a NIF to start any business activity, present any type of invoice , budget or taxes.

– Deadline: Immediately.

5- Liquidate the tax on property transfers and documented legal acts

– Where: At the Tax Office of the corresponding autonomous community.

– How: It is done with form 600. Although you do not have to pay this tax , since the incorporation of companies is exempt, it is essential to carry out this procedure and have the deeds stamped. You keep a copy.

– Cost: None.

6- Register the deeds in the corresponding territorial commercial registry.

Cost and deadline: This procedure costs around 100 euros and takes about fifteen days.

7- Request a simple note in the commercial registry

– Accredits the company administrator to be able to carry out the following procedures.

– Deadline: It takes between two days and one week.

8- Request the definitive NIF and registration in the IAE with the Treasury form 036
9- Request the company's digital certificate

– In this case, the most convenient way is via telematic means, on the FNMT (National Mint and Stamp Factory) website : www.fnmt.es.

– Deadline: At the end of the process, a key is obtained.
