Creative Website Popup Design Examples and Inspiration
Every marketer needs a slider file for popup design inspiration and examples. In this article, I will show you my own slider file that I use when I need to create a new and engaging popup.
Aside from Poptin's own examples in this gallery , I highly recommend letting your creativity flow with other examples as well.
In this article, we will look at some creative and inspiring popup designs and examples to improve our lead magnet conversion rates for 2022.
Let's dive in
Honesty and Authenticity Copy Design Popup
I would always recommend an honest and authentic copy design popup that country email list always has its charm to attract the reader to give their email address.
Wikipedia has done a great job of being honest and asking for donations to keep growing. We all need information to be free and unbiased, and Wikipedia does a great job of that. Hence, this copy with a simplistic design has its own merit.

The other honest popup I found was created by ProfitWell. While on ProfitWell's website, they were promoting the takedown of their pricing page. While it has good content, since they were messing with my user experience on the blog, they started with "we hate popups...". I can totally relate to that.

Why? It's honest, direct, and gives something in exchange for an email address. Plus, the pictures are real, and these two guys in the pop-up above do a great job.
I signed up immediately.
If you can make your popup design relevant, empathetic, and have good copy, you'll likely have a decent conversion rate.
Simplistic design popup
Sometimes all you need is simple and it works well. Why does simple popup design work? It usually works when your offer is great, has social proof , and the copy is amazing.
With this, I would like to share a great example that was offered to marketers (by the way, we marketers are usually critical of others).

Harry dry runs this little project and shows the above popup on exit intent. It has social proof (9691 marketers), actionable advice, a 2 minute read (low barrier), and it’s also honest because it says less than 0.4% of people unsubscribe and it’s free.
This type of text with a great offer will always work. If you are looking for a simplistic design example to get inspired by, this would be the winner.
Lastly, it doesn't say "sign up," but rather "update my marketing," which actually offers a value-based call to action.
Good job Harry!

Another very simplistic popup design example I receive is inspired by Ahrefs.

Ahrefs assumes that the blog visitor cannot be placed in a funnel and therefore it is better to continuously feed them with fresh content. That content is like a sales page, so the reader/visitor will eventually convert.
So, the above simplistic popup with a mascot does a great job of converting. According to Ahrefs, it has over 0.5% conversion from its 250 monthly visitors. Well, so it works.
The last simplistic inspiration for popup design comes from the growth hackers I follow. These are a group of guys teaching growth marketing and their popup is simple yet effective for students like me. It’s just amazing copy and a lot of social proof.
