“Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of the business we do, we all need to understand how important branding is. We are the presidents of our companies. Me Inc. To stay in business, the most important thing is to be the CMO of the brand called Me.”
In public relations, the most important resource for any business is yourself. You are the face that represents the company you work for, and you are an even bigger face if you run your own business. You may think you don't need one because you don't have your own business, but everyone needs a personal brand, whether they have their own business, work for someone else, or are just looking for a job. People love doing business with people, and personal branding will show the world that you are a real human being, not just a name hidden behind boring information on your resume.
No matter what you do, whether you like it or not, other people will form conclusions about you. We live in a digital age surrounded by Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google, blogs, YouTube and numerous other platforms and social networks that can be perfectly used for personal branding.
