1. Define your goals
Building a target group on Linkedin is useless if you have nothing to sell. Becoming an influencer on Linkedin is not a goal in itself . It is just a way to build a target group and sell a product or service.

why become a linkedin influencer
So, before you start posting on Linkedin, ask yourself: why do I want to do this? What kind of lead generation strategy on Linkedin do I want to create?

Think about the ways you could monetize your influence on Linkedin and be clear about the goal.

2. Optimize your Linkedin profile
Starting to post on Linkedin without having an optimized Linkedin profile is like having a hole in your pocket.

Would you ever spend money on ads to send albania whatsapp number data 5 million people to a website landing page that isn’t optimized for conversion? I wouldn’t say so. The same rules apply to Linkedin profiles.

You don't want to attract people with your posts and then disappoint them with your profile.

optimize linkedin profile
Before you start posting, take the time to:

Design an original image and banner
Write a simple and clear headline
Specify your value proposition in the About section
Show evidence in the Highlights section
Customize your LinkedIn URL
Optimize the Activities section
Please specify your work experience and education
Once this is done, you can start thinking about the content.

3. Build a content strategy
More and more people are starting to post on Linkedin. So you need to think about a strategy if you want to stand out your personal brand. The best thing is to start with a niche, take a specific topic and become an expert on that topic.

I started posting on Sales Navigator before I posted any startup, productivity, and growth advice and it worked really well.

With experience I noticed that 3 types of posts performed well:

Celebrations
The “how to” (“how to”)
Stories

To summarize:

Become an expert on a topic
Post tutorials and stories on this topic
Celebrate your victories with your target group
Your follower count should start to grow.

4. Activate Creator Mode
If you want to use Linkedin influence to generate leads or traffic to your website, you absolutely must activate the creator mode. There are three advantages:

You can insert a link in your profile
Show your number of followers
Suggest content on your profile
activate influencer creator mode on linkedin
To activate creator mode, simply scroll down your profile and click on “Creator Mode”.

5. Merge and schedule posts
An important part of being successful on Linkedin is being consistent . You need to post at least once a week. Whatever your pace is, stick to it. This will force you to produce content.

There will be times when you won't have the inspiration or energy to produce content . To anticipate these times there are two things you can do.

Creating Linkedin Post Groups
Use a scheduling tool to schedule posts weeks in advance.
I personally use Taplio for this purpose. The tool is really easy to use and saves a lot of time.

schedule posts on linkedin
Every month I take 4 hours to write all my Linkedin posts for the month. I schedule them using the scheduling tool and I don't have to worry about anything. You only need to log in to reply to comments.

This saves a lot of time compared to connecting to Linkedin every day and writing posts on the platform.
