Can smart contracts be run on Celestia?
Celestia does not directly support smart contracts, but smart contract functionality can be provided through layer-2 solutions or rollups built on top of it.
Celestia uses the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. Network participants contribute to the security of the network by staking TIA tokens and receive rewards in return.
