The merger of Informa, a Spanish commercial, financial, and marketing information company, and D&B;, a multinational marketing solutions company, has given rise to Prospecta, a new B2B marketing database.
Informa currently has a national B2B commercial information database with more than 4.8 million economic agents, from which more than 2 million companies were extracted for the creation of Prospecta. Prospecta was created with the purpose of making a qualitative and quantitative difference in the world of marketing, as it "makes all market information available to companies in a reliable and up-to-date manner, with the greatest segmentation capacity to locate the best prospects, identify customers, and enrich their databases," the company states. To fulfill the commitments that Prospecta offers to companies, various initiatives are taken. For example, it bases its quality on service, ensuring a maximum 5% return rate. Otherwise, the company states, two free addresses will be provided for each address that exceeds this percentage.
