The decor is stunning and well worth a peek too…

The Fighting Cocks is a Grade II listed building, and it whatsapp number list has all the quirks you would expect of a period structure. Built in the 1899, the building hasn’t lost any of its charm. The barometer on the exterior of the building is a lovely touch and makes me smile every time I visit!
The menu is lovely and is definitely interesting from a graphic design point of view. I love the logo and retro banner – and all the yummy things inside! The Fighting Cocks sells cocktails, and one makes the perfect treat every now and then.
Although it’s a rubbish iPhone picture, above is an amazing chandelier and original ceiling at the entrance of the pub. This chandelier gives the whole room a ‘Great Gatsby‘ feel, and takes this space from being a bit quirky to very grand – once you look up! The walls and ceiling are tiled in green, and they add to the period feel.
