How to Use Post Templates on LinkedIn?

Post by jakariai065 »

To use a post template, open the LinkedIn mobile app and create a new post from your personal profile or company Page. In the post composer menu, tap Use Template.

Next, choose a background. They all have the same functionality, so choose the background that best matches your brand book or makes your content stand out in the feed.

As of October 2022, LinkedIn offers just over two dozen america cell phone number list message template options. About half of them are solid colors, which may be better suited to brands with a more serious tone. The rest feature patterns and graphics, which may be better suited to brands with a more casual style of communicating with their audience.

Once you've selected a background, tap the text chip at the bottom of the screen. Then choose one of the six font options available. Note that you can't manually change the font size, color, or placement, but the size automatically adjusts as you type.

Don't like how your post looks after you've added your message? You can tap to preview other background and font combinations before you finalize your post. Tap Done when you're happy with how your post looks.

You can also add some creative elements to a template-based message. Do you want to draw more attention to your content or add more context to your message? LinkedIn’s sticker panel has over 100 options for adding simple graphics to message templates. Note that you won’t find any animated or interactive options in LinkedIn’s sticker panel — at least not yet.

Want to add extra information or a unique call to action to your post? Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner and select Text. You can use this feature to add callouts to your post. Use the menu at the top of the screen to change the font, color, or apply alignment, and tap the Text option again to add multiple callouts.

Want to make your LinkedIn content more accessible? Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner and select Alt Text. LinkedIn will automatically add the text from your post to this field. You have the option to expand the description by adding up to 300 characters.

If you want to add a link directly to your post, you can select the link sticker from the creative menu.

When you're done creating your post, click Next in the top right corner. LinkedIn automatically takes you back to the post editor and turns the post template you just created into an image attachment.

Before publishing your LinkedIn post, you can write a title, hashtags, and insert links, but keep in mind that the site card for the link will not appear if you have already attached a post template. Adding a link in the comments or a link sticker can be more effective.
