What's new from HubSpot at the last HUG Quito of 2016

On Tuesday, November 29, the last event of the year of the HubSpot Users Group Quito was held , a community of professionals committed to business growth, marketing and sales.

The event called “New tools for growth in 2017” was held thanks to the collaboration between Hiperestrategia and Buen Trip Hub , and addressed two important topics:

UTPL, a real implementation case
The first part of the event was a discussion with our special guest, Leonardo c level contact list Sánchez, director of recruitment processes at UTPL, the largest private university in Ecuador. During his speech, Leonardo talked about the case of UTPL in implementing HubSpot to attract new students. Leonardo detailed the before and after of his experience.

“It is not enough for your institution to advertise on television; we provide content for our future clients. With free courses or downloadable ebooks, upon registration, we approach those who visit our pages looking for an option for their university studies. When we are aware of their interests and needs, we can define what to do to go from a lead to a conversion ,” says Sánchez.

For Leonardo, one of the main obstacles to creating Inbound Marketing strategies is not having data available to work with. This situation promises to change with the automation platform, as it allows the collection of real analytics for the entire management process. In addition, it facilitates the creation of email campaigns , as well as conversion processes that involve the use of different types of content and media.

Leonardo says that the effectiveness of each strategy begins with assuming a business culture of intelligent information management. This requires the creation of centralized data repositories and monitoring the fulfillment of objectives.




New features in HubSpot tools
The second part of the event consisted of the presentation of the new features that this suite of tools brings for 2017. Adriana Albán, CEO of Hiperestrategia, detailed the platform improvements for free and paid accounts:

Assistance in content creation.
Data intelligence to define the best content topics.
Advertising on Facebook from your dashboard.
