Let's say the pickup point sells goods worth 4 million rubles monthly. You pay 45,000 rubles for rent and utilities, and another 78,000 rubles go toward employee salaries and fees. Add in internet costs, video surveillance, bags, and other minor expenses—another 7,000 rubles. You'll receive 112,200 rubles in commission. Subtract 6% tax, leaving you with 105,000 rubles on expenses of 130,000 rubles. This means you'll be operating at a loss of 25,000 rubles if you don't incur any fines. Bonuses and fines for Wildberries pickup points
Previously, there were subsidies to support pickup points in small regions. This included an additional 3% of turnover, paid on top of the base rate. The site also allocated between 270,000 and 360,000 rubles, depending on the region, for three months. However, this program has been discontinued since May 23, 2023.
Pickup point owners receive a bonus of 14 rubles per item for processing returns to suppliers. Bonuses are also awarded for the pickup point's rating, calculated using the following formula:
P is the amount of the bonus, in rubles;
K is a bonus coefficient that depends on the average rating of the PVZ.
If the value (P) is above 0, the site pays a premium, and if it is below 0, the owner of the pickup point receives a penalty.
The rating is calculated based on the 150 most recent customer reviews. Penalties begin at ratings of 4.94 and below. In the event of a low rating, Wildberries also reduces the limit on orders placed at pickup points until their rating is restored.
Rating penalties are one of the most unfair, according to pickup point owners. Not all customers see the difference between the quality of a pickup point's work and that of the supplier. A bad rating can be given for a defective product or simply for the wrong size. One negative rating is enough to trigger a fine.
Of course, one can't help but recall Wildberries' much-discussed innovation, which requires pickup and return employees to compensate for lost, replaced, or defective goods. Following this, a number of pickup locations went on strike.
As a result, Wildberries suspended fines for pickup point employees for picking up incorrect orders and cancelled previously issued fines. However, the offer agreement still contains a clause stating that "Wildberries has the right to deduct from the payment amount the cost of Products lost, misplaced, or damaged while in the possession of the Contractor" (i.e., the pickup point owner). Furthermore, a new fine was introduced for unfair competition and defamation of the platform. Essentially, the platform simply began taking money from pickup point owners and prohibited complaints about it.
